Let The Flames Begin a Riot

  • May. 12th, 2008 at 2:16 AM

So when i first bought RIOT!, i was pretty familiar with misery business and born for this because they were posted on FBR's upcoming album release thingy. Trust me when i say, misery business and born for this were just amazing songs from paramore. Finally june 12th rolls around and i search high and low for the cd because at the time, our Target didnt even have riot! Haha  the good ole days. But as me and my friend were missing school to search for the record, we finally find it and listen to it on the way to school. For a pessimist starts and i fall in love with paramore all over again. Then comes Thats What You Get and immediately my friend Danyel buys that ringtone and we just obsess over how amazing the first two songs were. Of course i wasnt surprised because they sure do know how to just amaze their fans. Finally familiar songs start to play like Hallelujah and Misery Business. When it rains comes on right after them. My friend danyel hears it and she just breaks down crying because she was familiar with it and could relate to the lyrics, she just loved it from the start. Then finally, i hear the beginning of what i called number 6, and Josh's guitar to Zac's drums come on and all his amazingness at them and i just lose it. The sound of the song, the lyrics behind it, hayleys voice just clashing with everything. Finally the chorus. I dont know what it is about that song but i just literally get mezmorized in that song. It doesnt really relate to me that i know of and i just cant stop listening to it. I mean i love riot! and the rest of the songs, but i would have to say that its my absolute favorite song. "Reaching as i sink down into light" i hear that and josh's guitar once again, and i just get into a paramode that i just cannot explain. Im sure a lot of people know what im talking about. Everything about that song is just the most amazing work of art that i have ever come across. When people say that art is a talent, they're really just talking about Paramore. I think the definition of a great piece of art, is the combination of these people (including taylor because he did have a hand in some of their songs). I know that in this post some of you are quite confused because i tend to ramble on about things and they just turn out to be a bundle of jibberish by the 20th sentence. So sorry if you dont understand my typing, it happens from time to time with paramore. I lose all of my thought processes. Let the flames begin starts a riot in my heart! I love paramore!
